While the area already boasts numerous South American-style sushi restaurants, we believe there is still a gap in the market for a unique Japanese dining experience like ours. We aspire to introduce a fresh take on Japanese cuisine to the Doral community, setting ourselves apart from the traditional South American sushi spots.

We firmly believe that our distinctive menu and innovative flavors will offer residents and visitors of Doral a refreshing alternative. By blending traditional Japanese culinary techniques with our own creative flair, we are dedicated to delivering a completely new dining experience. Head Chef Introduction: Chef Wang

Chef Wang was born in a small coastal city in China, surrounded by the sea since childhood. Growing up on a small island in his hometown, he was immersed in seafood from an early age. Despite not graduating from high school, he immediately delved into restaurant work, accumulating a wealth of culinary experience. Several trips to Southeast Asian countries broadened his horizons and sparked his interest in diverse cultural cuisines.

After relocating to New York, Chef Wang decided to focus on the Japanese culinary industry. He firmly believed that the exquisite techniques and unique flavors of Japanese cuisine were the perfect choice for his culinary career. With the support of his wife, Susu, he made the decision to move to Miami in 2022, embarking on an entrepreneurial journey.

Inspired by his childhood memories on a small island off the coast of China and influenced by his travels in Southeast Asia, Chef Wang has created a Japanese cuisine menu full of freshness and creativity. Combining seafood with traditional Japanese cooking techniques, he presents customers with exquisite and delicious dishes.

Chef Wang is the soul of Rakki Sushi, infusing his passion and experience into every dish, dedicated to providing guests with a unique and unforgettable dining experience.
